You will regret staying at this hostel. I booked a single private bedroom for three nights in early July 2014. The door: looks like it would collapse from one weak kick. The lock did not open on the first try (nor does it open properly from the inside). If I pushed in a certain way I had better success. The...

I wanted to go to a hostel in tel aviv from where everything was in walking distance and then I found out about this place. At the counter they helped me with nearly anything, the prices are competitive and there was even a service to leave my passport safe, so I could go for a swim without worrying. Overall, this...

Way over priced but that is Tel Aviv, everything is expensive! About as good as your going to get in Israel. One great thing about this hostel is it's proximity to the beach. You can walk to the beach in under 5 minutes.

Spent a good time in Sky. Nice and not expensive hostel, great location (only 100 meters from the beach, not far away from Jaffa and all the main streets). Most of the rooms have balconies, free wifi in a lobby, coffe and a cake in the morning. Nice stuff that always can help you with the directions and all the...

This was the worst place we stayed ever. Everything in our room was old and worn, the bathroom's window did not even have a curtain (so everyone could see us naked from the outside), our room was connected to adjacent one by a locked door with a gap below, so there was no privacy. The doors leading to the corridor...

I have stayed in hostels before and in various rooms around the world, but never something like that for 65 euros per room per night (we had our own bathroom). The rest you can see from the photos I took but believe me it's even worst than that.

I don't usually expect a lot from hostels, but this one is just a disaster. It's old, dirty, with thin walls (yes, you can hear every single car passing by), and occasional wildlife in your room. Even though staff was nice and friendly, it's not enough to raise the grade higher than 1*.

One of the miracles of the modern world, how they get a single bed inside a cupboard!!!!!! Fairly run down place that sort of just hangs in there. Everything is basic and a bit rough. But the staff are nice, friendly and helpful and close to the beach. It won't be one of the highlights of your trip.

The Sky Hostel in Central Tel Avid is an excellent place to spend one night or several. The rooms are basic, but Amit, the manager and his staff are excellent hosts. They are very friendly and patient and can answer all your travel questions about places to see in Tel Aviv or how to go to other cities. I highly...

Although I took a room 'with private bathroom' (which was really a closet with a WC and a shower tray), the Sky is a hostel, not a hotel, so it's not fair to expect more than the basics. But just the basics would be fine, if a place is reasonably pleasant and cared for. The Sky, on the other hand,...
