My room was #9 - I didn't expect the Ritz -however excellent place to hang the hat! Now, the staff was awesome and caring - good coffee essential! Very clean, good robust breakfast plus the grounds (garden) a great place to meet or just sit and enjoy. Will be back again... in fact will give money toward the expansion and... More

It has good location near the old city of Jaffa. The staff is really friendly and nice. The building is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and clean. You will get value for your money, highly recommended!

I was by myself in Israel. I rented a car at the airport and I had a reservation at a Tel Aviv Hotel. And I had a Garmin GPS. I thought I was "fixed". No way! The hotel I had booked was on some teeny tiny side street. There was NO PARKING there. So I went on Trip Advisor and... More

Great place in the middle of the American Colony in Jaffa, a quite place with interesting buildings next to the Hostel. The Hostel was once in the beginning of the 20Th century a Hotel that was run by the Baron Ustinov. Today it's belong to the Messianic Congregation- every Friday evening they have a pray with songs. The rooms are... More

This hostel is closer to Jaffa than Tel Aviv. We stayed here in a double room on the third floor. There were some good things: one of the staff was very kind, but certainly not all of them; there was a fridge in the room to put groceries; the breakfast was good; the building itself must have once been attractive,... Beit Immanuel Hostel is located in a strategic area close to florentin neighborhood (an hipster restaurant and shop area). The beach and the old city of Jaffa are not far. Rooms are spacious and clean with an "old style" touch. Air conditioning is also available. The staff is not so friendly, an old lady welcome you in a cold way,... More

This could not have been a batter experience. From the moment we checked in we were treated like family. The room was great, the breakfast superb and the people extraordinary. Then you add the location and you have the place to stay in Tel Aviv. And you are just 5 minutes from the Mediterranean. Close to restaurants and great access... More

My wife and I stayed one night in February, after flying into Israel and before starting our trip around the country. Room was very basic, but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very adequate. No complaints, understanding there is nothing extra in the room.

I cannot recommend it. In the summer heat if you have a room overlooking the balcony you can find that the volunteer staff feels it is right to slam their iron door open so that it blocks the air into your room... If you shut their service door they even reopen it immediately after, without apologizing... The staff is, I... More

Our family has spent 2 x 2 nights there. A very central hostel, in a historical area (nice terrace wooden houses and church), 5 mn walk to the flea market or to the sea. More than a guest house, Beit Immanuel is a place fiiled with love and availability. It is also a house of prayer, run by a committed... More
