As a frequent business traveler to Jerusalem for over 25 years, it was a pleasant surprise that the National Hotel was reopened and completely renovated a few years ago. Since then I have stayed with groups and individually at the hotel several times. The rooms are well done and comfortable with tile floors and a more contemporary decor with flat...

This is a great hotel. Walking distance from Damascus and herodes gate. We stayed at wonderful room, with big windows and even bigger balcony. We had some minor troubles with the maintenence of the room which was promptly fixed with a lot of kindness and attention from the manager, Mr Mohammed. Everyone is really kind and nice. All of thestaff...

My dad and I are Christians and this was a hotel that respected that and took great care of us. Nirvana took us in as her family and I think we spent more time talking at the front desk than in our room. The location was perfect and we in the middle of all that we need whether it be...

On our recent family trip to Israel we spent 4 nights in the National Hotel Jerusalem. Israel gets a lot of bad press but our family including 3 small children felt very safe. This hotel in east Jerusalem is excellent value for money and the staff couldn't have been more welcoming. The service provided was first class. The hotel is...

We stayed here for 5 nights and I cannot praise the professional and friendly attitude of the staff highly enough. The excellent service began even before we arrived, arranging our airport transfers. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival. Our rooms (all three) were ready and beautifully clean and check in was swift and easy. The restaurant on...

It is a base going to Bethlehem, Hebron, Jaffa, Jericho and Jerusalem. If you care to walk, the various gates/historical sites are ten to fifteen minute walk from the hotel. Is has local shops nearby and across it is...

I've stayed at the National Hotel Jerusalem in the summer of 2014 when people were cancelling their reservations because of the conflict in Jerusalem. But we felt very safe there and we enjoyed our stay, it was the best trip ever! We haven't seen any conflict, so we even thought that maybe the media was exaggerating. The people at the...

We enjoyed our stay at the National Hotel. Nirvana, at the reception desk took such good care of us. Even calling us on her day off from home to make sure we were OK! She is without a doubt the very best of the best. Some mornings we had an early tour and missed breakfast so she had a box...
