From the clean yet well appointed rooms, wonderful hot and cold breakfasts and full dinners, and a variety of open meeting rooms, this is a great place for English speaking tourists to stay. Tucked away in the Christian quarter, the Guest House's location makes it easy to get to many sites you on your 'must see' list. The staff are...

If you are in Jerusalem to see the historical sites and you want to see hear and smell them as well this is the best place to be. The guest house is located about 300 meters from Golgatha (church of the Holy Sepulchre) - 10 min. walk to the Western Wall, 5 mins from the Jaffa Gate, etc. etc. Breakfast...

We stayed for three nights at the Lutheran Guest House in March 2016 (90 EUR/night/room, including breakfast) right in the heart of the Old City. Echoing some of the other reviews I've seen on Trip Advisor: the rooms were small, but extremely clean, with incredible views of Old City Jerusalem. Try to get a private room on the second floor,...

The guest house is located right in the center of the Old City...close to Jewish Quarter and the Wall... It is a bit tricky to find the place...from Jaffa gate walk down the main road...turn right to Habad street...first right again...and there you are...so not so difficult if one knows the way...people working in nearby shop might help with directions......

I stayed here with a friend for three nights in May 2011. We loved the place. Apart the room which was very good, I greatly appreciated the common space: open holls, coridors, teraces, the small aquarium, flowers and trees everywere, and a great view. It was very speciuous and contrasted so much with the overcrowded city. I was very clean....

For me, the Lutheran Guest House was a simple, but very comfortable place to stay in the Old City of Jerusalem. The reading room is lovely and large, and I also enjoyed the view from the upper floor - although it is admittedly not among the most famous views from hotels in Jerusalem. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, offering something...

Stayed here three nights Christmas 2015, 26 - 29 December 2015. The Guest House is owned by the Lutheran Church of Germany. This is truly an oasis in the heart of the Old Town Jerusalem, not far from where the main action is (everything that matters is within 10-20mins walking distance, including the amazing Wailing Wall). Also, this street is,...

For us the main enjoyment of staying here was looking out to old Jerusalem from our balcony room and looking straight at Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Surreal being able to see this at night from our bed. We often slept at night with the balcony doors open and wake to the sounds of old Jerusalem. The negative was the...

In an old building, the small comfortable rooms and a good breakfast make this a great place to enjoy Old Jerusalem. We stayed in room 238 with a view to the Holy Sepulchre and at the end of the corridor a balcony has great views to the Temple Mount. We enjoyed a lot our stay and the rates are very...

We spent 3 nights here in November 2014. It was close to many of the sites we visited in the Old City of Jerusalem and within easy walking distance. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. My husband has a back issue which made the mattress in our room very uncomfortable to him. He spent the first night on the...
