Jerusalem Hotel is very nice, is a charming ancient Arabian house with a wonderful patio where you can have breakfast and other meals, or just stay to relax. Also the forniture of the hotel and rooms is very typical, with several beautiful objects and pieces. Some rooms have also a little balcony and is very cute! And last but not...

I work for a human rights organization, and normally we stay in hostels in E. Jerusalem on our way from the airport to our work in Palestine, but we weren't sure how long we were going to be delayed at the airport, so the best deal near Damascus Gate really was the Jerusalem Hotel. Plus the staff there had shown...

I stayed here for 8 nights while traveling around this great land. I could not have felt more welcome & pleased to return after each days journey. The hospitality was warm & genuine and the menu at the garden restaurant had enough delicious options to last over a week without getting tired. The art & decor throughout is splendid. I...

My husband stayed at the Jerusalem Hotel the last week of January and I was so jealous! Tucked away on a calm street but near the old city he said it is an authentic reminder of the "Jerusalem of old" - but updated with modern amenities. The hotel has beautiful jerusalem stone walls in the large comfortable rooms and throughout...

I'm just back from a short three day visit to occupied East Jerusalem, where we stayed at the wonderful Jerusalem Hotel: a beautiful, spacious airy, old stone hotel, with delightful public spaces, extremely comfortable bedrooms, a wonderfully restful covered garden restaurant and bar with live oud a drum music on Friday evenings, great breakfasts, incredibly warm, friendly, hospitable staff, and...

This is my first time in the Middle East and the hotel staff were very warm and helpful. It is a family owned business and they are incredibly sweet people. The facilities were beautiful and authentic. There is a restaurant downstairs that has the most amazing food (you must try their kebabs). It is a great mix of locals and...

I stayed in this hotel the last 3 days of a worktrip to Palestine and Israel. The location is perfectly set just by the Damascus gate, wich means that after a short walk you would find the Wall and other tourist/religious sites. The staff is extremely friendly (as all Palestineans) and the food here was good. But the most impressive...

This small family hotel has all the modern amenities needed in a refurbished older building. I stayed here last in 2007 and the family member checking me in remembered me :) This doesn't happen often when you travel overseas. My luggage was lost and the room had toothbrush and toothpaste, etc -- all I needed since one cannot carry these...

We recently stayed at the Jerusalem Hotel for 3 days. The hotel has great atmosphere and feels like a home, a feeling strengthened by the warmth of the owner and his staff who could not have made us more welcomed. The rooms have high ceilings, beautiful antiques and stone walls. The informal restaurant on the front terrace is a very...
