While not having some of the amenities of fine hotels, it has something most hotels in Israel do not have. First, it is in the heart of the old city, Herod's garden to be exact. Second, it is housed at the oldest protestant church in Israel. Third it is right inside Jaffa gate and is perfect for exploring the old...

Jerusalem has so much to see so walking the city especially in summer means you need a centrally located hostel to go back to for rests so you can set out several times a day. Being in a safe location inside the walled city is very very special. The chapel holds several services during the week as well as Sundays....

I have stayed here several times while extending a business trip to Tel Aviv with a few days in Jerusalem; this past September, my wife was able to join me. I cannot write enough wonderful things about this place - the history of it alone is inspiring and it is very comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts are great, too! Be...

Live the life of Jesus in this lovely old building close to the centre of the walled city of Jerusalem. Friendly people in all the aspects of the houses, whether the coffee bar, reception or museum. Perfectly located to explore Jerusalem and surrounding areas.

Christ Church Guest House is unique and not to be compared with a hotel. Christ Church is a community of guests, staff, frequent coffee house clientele, and the larger surrounding body of Christ, whether passing through or those who network closely to bless the guest house. Many volunteers give their time freely to work there just to bless those who...

A unique mix of old English culture in a now International environment. A peaceful oasis with good food and comfortable accommodation. An interesting museum giving context. The Church is at the heart. Peaceful place to step aside and rest a while.

If there's a place where I find peace, smiles, homelike feeling in Jerusalem, it's definitely Christ Church Guest House. Quiet rooms overlooking the yard, caring staff and volunteers, what else ? I like to relax in the shade, chat with other guests, knowing that I can walk out of this place and find myself in the heart of the Old...

This is my favorite place to stay in Jerusalem. Great access to the Old City, a Christian hotel, great coffee and breakfast, and a place to park my car. Honestly, there is no better place for personal trips. Probably not enough space for a full bus of tourists.

This warm hospitality was extended to all you visited this hidden hide away full of love! There is the oldest Protestant church there with services. You may stay as a guest. You may eat their meals together with them for a very reasonable fee. People from all over come and stay a few days, months or years as volunteers and...

“Some of the rooms are right of the lounges which tend to be noisy because people congregate there. If you are a socialite, this may be a good choice for you, but if you are a light sleeper, perhaps you should ask for a different room that is away from the lounge.”
