WOW! This place used to be a safe haven for Christians, now the service has eroded drastically and the Christ in Christ Church Guest House is absent. We travelled for 20 hours and arrived at the guesthouse and was rudely informed by some surly girl at the reception desk on Saturday Nov 19th, it is only 1pm, you CANNOT go...

I visited Christ Church guest house in May 2016 as part of a Holy Land tour with CMJ. Set in shadow of David's tower and within the old city wall it has a secure compound and the church set in beautiful gardens. Run by the Anglican church and staffed by full time workers and volunteers it is an extremely welcoming...

I've been to Jerusalem many times and stayed at the newer and more expensive hotels. But always wanted to stay here and glad it worked out. It's quiet, get setting for devotional, spiritual time. Right inside the Jaffa Gate with Mamilla Mall very close. I've been in meetings during day in another location so didn't get into the Old City...

A spiritual oasis; a quiet haven for the traveler. Warm and genuine hospitality. Excellent position inside the Old City at the Jaffa Gate. Close to Mamilla Mall. Rooms are clean and basic. Good breakfast. Will recommend and will return!

Christ Church Guest House is situated on Jaffa Gate, opposite David's Tower, providing easy access to the Old City. Lovely breakfasts are served by cheerful volunteers from around the world, and iced coffee in the attached coffee-shop is always welcome after walks in the mid-summer sun. The staff go out of their way to help and advise, making for a...

Recommenced by a relative who had stayed here before, we were not disappointed. It was everything we expected it to be. We felt safe, rested and welcomed here. A great location within walking distance to the Old City and some modern shops also. Breakfast was amazing with the chance to mix with other guests if you choose to. The Café...

I've stayed at Christ Church Guest House on seven different trips. The workers and volunteers there are always pleasant to deal with. The rooms are simple but clean. Thankfully, the rooms do not have TV's but the hotel does have Wifi. A simple but adequate breakfast is included in the rate. The location right inside Jaffa Gate is excellent for...
