The site said that there was hotel shuttle service available to take guests to major Jerusalem sights and the 3 hotel employees I've asked have assured me that this no longer exists. This hotel is lovely but nowhere near places of interest so the taxi's have been about $100. USD per day. Total bummer. Had the site advertised no shuttle,...

Dear RozJF, Thank you for sharing your comments following your recent stay with us at Dan Jerusalem, we're delighted that you overall enjoyed the hotel, just sorry that you found the location not as convenient as you might have liked. While taxis into town are any way usually a lot cheaper than that you have described, most guests find the...

Dan Jerusalem Hotel is a very high quality hotel with a convenient location near all the sites in Jerusalem. The room was luxurious, with bath, LCD tv with movie channels, free Wi-Fi for 3 hours (but then you need to pay), and the food was very high quality. The hotel location provides a very quiet environment. The highest floor is...

We spent 4 nights in this hotel as part of Israel tour by Omega Tours. Great place with nice food. Even though the room looks like it has a long history, it is well-maintained and comfortable. Very near to major sights in Jerusalem!

The richest breakfast buffet I ever had in a comparable hotel. Excellent salads! This breakfast is definitely an excellent start of your day! Dan Jerusalem Hotel is situated close to Hebrew University and offers a beautiful view on Mount of Olives and the Old City from its terraces. It is close enough to the Old City and the Center by...

We arrived for one night on Friday and it is very nice that we can do the check on at 5pm. The service was wonderful, the room was clean. We arrived to take some rest from the kids and work and the goal has been achieved beyond expectations. We definitely go back again!

The hotel public areas are great- designed, spacious and big. Rooms are nice, we stayed at 2 rooms on the 4th floor- not too big but nice toilet and clean. The hotel is upside down - lobby is in 6th floor and you go down for the rooms. The area in which the hotel is located is close to some...

It is hard to write improved over my previous reports of the Dan Jerusalem, but I can clearly point out signs of investment and renovation in the hotel. We were very happy and well taken care of on our current stay as in previous ones. This hotel is highly recommended by us.

this is what i look for, wherever i go. we were not looking for a honey moon hotel on the last day of our honey moon trip, but Osama, at the desk, was so nice and welcoming, and just learning about our recent wedding, acknowledged the fact and even sent a nice bottle of champagne later in the evening...those little...

Was on a tour in December. Stayed at the Dan Hotel while in Jerusalem. Very nice, spacious hotel. We were with a group and my husband and I got a suite with two bathrooms, king bed and sitting room. Very surprised and unexpected. Food at restaurant was very good also. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay while in Israel.

Being in Jerusalem is a joy, in itself. Staying here at the Dan Jerusalem made it all the more enjoyable. Stayed on the 7th floor. Great view and room. Food was excellent, as was the service. The only downside was that the A/C was not particularly efficient but I prefer to have an open door/window anyway (plus it was cool...
