NEVER stay at this hotel, black mold in rooms, (A lot of it) tried to cancel the stay, but was refused. My wife and I have been to Jerusalem many times and though this hotel would be a great location, but it was horrible. NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL, unless you want to get sick!!!!!!!!

Probably cockroaches...The whole place needs a deep clean, paint, light bulbs, repairs. The front desk guy with glasses about 50 is a grumpy guy. I thought I missed the breakfast but it's what it is, hardly anything. This is my first ever review. I felt I needed to write.

The website will inform you that they are recently refurbisth but they lie. That there is a jacuzzi in every room but they bearly have place to move and a dirty old bath tube. No bathrobe and slippers but some old towels, a super dirty carpet, a terrible brakefast and a super desgusting coffee, made in the morning and keept...

Addar is well located and the hotel is in a need of a renovation but still quite nice. However the service, that use to be splendid, is poorly and the so-called breakfast is nothing else but coffee and plain toast with nothing.

Addar is clearly a good choice for a stay in Jerusalem. Very friendly and helpfull staff, a cosy environment and a great location in East Jerusalem, less than a 10 minute walk from Damascus Gate. The room was huge! And with a fantastic balcony. Not the cleanest room nor the best breakfast, but overall we were very satisfied. We would...

For 40 years my partner & I have been wanting to go to Israel. It was our dream to go to the land where Jesus was born. Unfortunately the hotel we chose from booking.com didn't tell us that Addar hotel was in the Palestinian/ Muslin section of Jerusalem, not the Jewish section where we had hoped to stay. I prefer staying in hotels that are a bit older when visiting other countries. It helps me feel more like I'm on an adventure. So, if you are expecting a modern super clean, Western style hotel, this is not your hotel. That said, this hotel was one of my 2 favorites from the trip. It is a bit run down....

While this is not the most modern hotel, it's a lovely place with kind people to help at the front desk. Clean, large room with great balcony. Breakfast was not filling but located right near a 24 HR market. Close to Old Town of Jerusalem. Would recommend to a friend.
