The King David is in an amazing location and easy walking distance of the old city. It’s got an amazing history. The check in was very efficient and we were upgraded to a garden terrace room with a fab view. Overall a good stay but it’s quite dated and public areas are dusty. The

We usually stay at the King David when in Jerusalem, after all its a landmark institution. They always seem to assign us a very comfortable suite and indeed the staff are very sweet.... even if no one was stirring when we wanted to check out at 0600 hrs on a sabbath morning, the

Dear NewYorkCityVictor, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us following your stay here at The King David. We're utterly delighted that you experienced such a wonderful time with us and marveled at the Shabbat Elvator; we can confirm this is a service in many of the hotels catering to religious guests in Jerusalem. We're pleased you enjoyed it too. Looking forward to the next time to welcome you, with regards, Jeremy Sheldon Guest Relations Manager

This historic hotel was a lovely introduction to Jerusalem. The grounds are lovely with beautiful plantings, a view of the old city from the terrace and delightful pool. (Do note the pool closes the last week in October). Our room had a small balcony with table and chairs, desk a

Dear MWK51, Thank you very much, both for being our guest at the King David, and for your review here on Tripadvisor. We were delighted that your stay was an excellent one overall and that you were able to enjoy so many of the facilities that we offer. Our staff are constantly working hard to ensure complete satisfaction from our guests and we are delighted that (for the most part) their efforts were noted and appreciated. We have, of course, advised our Front Office Manager with regards to the comments concerning her team, in order that she can focus her attention on this aspect during training. We hope that we will have the pleasure of hosting you again in the future when your travels bring you back to Jerusalem. Kind regards, Jeremy Sheldon Guest Relations Manager

This hotel could not have been located in a better spot in Jerusalem. The service was perfect. Whenever you call the front desk or guest services, the phone was answered in 1 ring. Breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. Everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

We traveled with a small prepaid tour group, so I can't speak to the pricing. The accommodations were excellent as was the attentive staff, front desk and dining room. Be prepared to eat more than you intend to for breakfast.A minor disappoint was the absence of a coffee maker in

Dear Jed J, It was our pleasure to host you and your group here at the King David during your recent visit to Jerusalem. We were delighted to learn that you enjoyed so many varied aspects of our offering and that your stay with us was a good one overall. Our Old City facing rooms do feature an espresso machine but, as yet, our New City rooms do not enjoy the same benefit. We have ensured that our Food & Beverage Manager has received your feedback on this topic, and are happy to provide tea and coffee making facilities in all of our rooms upon request and at no additional charge. We very much hope that your future travels will bring you back to our ancient and wonderful city, and that when they do you will choose the King David as your home away from home in Jerusalem once again. Kind regards, Jeremy Sheldon Guest Relations Manager

We have reservations for Shabbat lunch on November 4th at the King David. My husband neglected to write down the hours during which we can come. This is not our first Shabbat lunch there but it has been a long time. Can someone enlighten me? Thank you.
You should send an email to the restaurant manager once hours and menu could change.
