Nice hotel, welcoming and good service. Great location next to the old city of Jerusalem, from your room window you can see thw walls of the city just in front. On foot you can tour all the historical places within the old city. Enjoy your stay.

Very friendly staff. Our room was small, but provided the necessary space as we were not in our rooms very often. The breakfast and dinner provided many options. Our seats were assigned in the dining area which relieved anxiety of finding a place to sit! Just a block from a gate into the Old City. Overall, very pleased!

Much more convenient to stay IN the old city rather than OUT, on the periphery. Towels rather damp for some reason. View from the room could've been much better. WiFi access very limited and you have to persist till password is supplied.

This hotel is in a fantastic location within walking distance to many historic sites. The staff was friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was varied and good--our kids ate well there, I was nervous about that as they can be picky! Beds were comfortable. Rooms nice and cool. We very much enjoyed our stay and would go back!

This was not booked by ourselves, being part of a pilgrimage package, and I don't know that I would have stayed there if it were left to me. The entrance is hidden, almost, between small and rather scruffy shops. Once there, it is necessary to climb a couple of flights of stairs to the actual hotel reception area. This caused...

I had a confirmed booking via hotels.com since March 2016 for 1 night. I specifically wanted this hotel as I liked the look of it, it's roof terrace and its location. When I arrived I was told that the hotel was fully booked and they've made arrangements for us to stay in another hotel a block away!!! To say I'm...

With great regret we had to transfer Ms. Lowe to another hotel as the Golden Walls was unexpectidly full for that night.

2 mins from the Damascus Gate, the Golden Walls Hotel is a perfect travel base. The staff are friendly and helpful and the food is excellent. Our room was a little on the small side, but comfortable, clean and well appointed and frankly, how long are you going to spend in it? The wi-fi is flaky - no surprise there...

Dear Salim, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. I apologize for the inconvenience caused by our elevator. During your stay we were in the process of installing a new elevator. I am glad you had a good time at the Golden Walls and hope to be your hosts again in Jerusalem Best Regards Rasheed Nashashibi
