Just spent 3 nights at House 57 in Jerusalem. It reminded me of staying at Grandma's house, which for me is comfortable. I had the room with kitchenette on the lower floor. It's Ok but I really would have liked a window with a view which this room lacks - a bit cave-like. However it was quiet and I slept... More

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was ok, and I had a comfortable stay at House57. However, a little bit far away from the Old City, so when there was no transportation service in Jerusalem you had to take a taxi (8 EUR/14 USD).

I spent eight long days in Jerusalem gathering up the household belongings of my daughter and her family, who made a sudden move to Canada for work. Remember the last time you moved? Now imagine that task made on behalf of others: . . . What to ship? What to leave? Where to drop the left items? How to ship... More

We spent three days in the wonderful room 7. Very friendly owner. Quiet district with good connections to the city, only 5-10 minutes by tram. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend the place for people who like quiet and family places.

House 57 is located in a quiet neighbourhood though its not very far from the old city. This makes it an excellent place to stay and explore the nearby places. The rooms are well equipped and clean. Nice private house in a quite place near the metro station. Rooms are not big very but cosy. There is refrigerator, pot, tv, a/c etc. A lot of different things on breakfast which is set even if you are alone in the house. Nice open terrace. There are a lot of places for free parking. The owner is a very... More

House 57 is at best a hostel for students. We were a family of four having booked two rooms 5 months ahead of arrival, looking forward to some sociable and affordable overnight stays at this guesthouse. When we arrived the owner had forgotten about the second bedroom although we had the email confirmation. We were put in a tiny bedroom... More

Nir was a big part of our fantastic Jerusalem experience. We have Trip Advisor to thank for alerting us to this great find! The house is not fancy but just unique, comfortable, welcoming, and special. Our kids LOVED room 7's loft and we loved the space, new bed, and view from the balcony. The buffet was also nothing fancy but... More

This is second time in a year that I stayed at House 57 in Jerusalem while visiting family. Once again Nir was a fabulous host, making our stay comfortable and convenient. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, allowing us to go the whole day without a bite to eat until dinner time. We were also often... More
