Had a complication with my reservation and the manager was proactive and extremely kind and generous in helping me resolve it. His attitude made for a very positive first experience at the Rafael Residence. If I have the opportunity to stay in West Jerusalem again, this will be top on my list.

The staff have been so accommodating and helpful that our stay here at Rafael Residence has been fantastic. The location is close to First Station where you can get a free shuttle to outside of Dung Gate in the Old City.Would highly recommended it.

Traveled with the family (parents + 3 kids ages 1.5 to 7), we all enjoyed the stay. Clean rooms, nice and compact kitchen with everything needed to cook meals (which we did). I forgot my phone charger in the room, and after I call the hotel, they mailed it to me on their expense.

We highly recommend the Rafael Residence. We rented a penthouse and 4 one bed units for a family celebration over a weekend. The rooms were very nicely furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. The penthouse has two double bedrooms and more people can be accommodated on sofa beds. The living... More

We stayed in 2 different rooms in Rafael residence and both were great. In the standard rooms you have a bedroom bathroom and small lounge and kitchen, with good towels, sheets etc and everything you need. Also there is great restaurant downstairs and lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in the area and good easy transport if you dont want to walk.... More

This property consists of a series of apartments, particularly well suited for families. Although travelling as a couple, we chose it because it lies in a charming location evoking old Jewish Jerusalem, offers free parking as well as the possibility of moving around towards the congested central town by public transport or even on foot, if walking is no problem.... If you need to spend the Sabbath in the Bakaa region of Jerusalem - this is a great place to be. Good location, friendly staff, quiet side street off a main street, within reasonable walking distance of the Old City. Garden apartments are a big plus. Bedroom small. No meal option at hotel, breakfast vouchers are available at a coffee... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights recently. The property was well located for us but if you want something central beware that it is not. The management was very nice and eager to please but the room left a lot to be desired. First, it is very cramped. The absolute size is not too bad but the... More
