Price is not that cheap. You can get better hotel for the same price. The Bathroom need some renovation. And the room smell like cigar, when we check in. And also you can hear the voice from the next door. And this place is a little bit noisy. Cant relax very well. The some blanket has whole from the burning...

Strand seems to be a place targeted towards tending organized tour groups like the one we were in. The hotel is reasonably clean, the finish looks sometimes more like someone's private flat than a hotel - especially the bathroom, which were slightly too rough for my taste. There's a problem with noise - you can hear what the people in...

This is a basic hotel about 15 minutes' walk north from the Old City. It's in the American Quarter, which means mixed Arabic and European-like neighborhood, mostly quiet. The hotel is mostly catering to the organized groups of Christian pilgrims, though not only them. There is a large dining room in the basement and the food (of standard mid-east variety)...
