If you are traveling on a budget and just want a bed in a good location, New Palm will meet your needs. Located within a few minutes walk to the Old city as well as the bus stop to Bethlehem, they provided a decent place to rest your head.

I booked the privat room with no bathroom. The room was clean and queit and has a heater and a van. In the bathrooms wc paper always avalaible, hot water for shower as well. There is no towel so you have to bring one, and no breakfast, but there are many small mini markets around you can buy cheap your... More

So, you’re arriving at Jerusalem. The first place you’d like to visit is no other than the Western Wall if you’re Jewish, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre if you’re Christian, or the Al-Aqsa Mosque if you’re Muslim. Whichever your religion and way of life is, you want to hit the Old City first. Now, if you happen to come... More

We stayed in this hostel on Oct 23 and 24 2016. Though the building looks old and not so good outside, somehow its inside are quite ok for its price. Staff are very helpful. Tea and coffee are available 24 hours, location is accessible by public transport and the Damascus Gate of the Old City of Jerusalem is just a... More

The location is fine as it is near to Damascus gate and the Bus station. The bathroom needs some TLC as it is lacking proper drainage and the room needs a bigger rubbish bin.The bed was not clean as we can see hairs on the bed covers and pillows! The lounge needs some TLC as well as the sofa covers needs... More

We booked this place because it was very close to Damascus Gate (right across the street) but that was the only good thing about this hostel/hotel. The room was VERY tiny and it was dirty when we checked in. The mattress was cut up foam and extremely uncomfortable. The bathroom were also very dirty. I have been around the world... More

Located conveniently next to the Damascus gate to the old city this place fits the bill. Friendly staff and a safe environment no fear to leave things in the room. The rooms are used but comfortable. Amenities adequate. There is a great lounge with refreshing tea and coffee as well as heavenly chilled water. Perhaps not the place for fans... More

The location is fine, but nothing special. Its decently far from Ben Yehuda street, but very close to the old city. The main man who runs the place is nice, but the people of the hostel kinda keep to themselves. Its a great homebase, but not a great place to hangout.

Not quite what we expected but over-all positive experience. The first impression was kind of awkward as they didn’t have our reservation and required that we bring it printed. As the administrator was no very fluent in English we struggled a bit till finally we managed to get our reservations using their computers. The hotel environment is not very lively.... More
