The staff is very nice and welcoming. Clean room. Nice rooftop. 15 min walking distance to Jaffa door and to mahane yehuda market. Great area to go out and grab a drink after a long day in the old city! Enjoyed a lot the Shabbat dinner! I highly recommend it!

The good: central location, nice staff, affordable, wifi, secure building access, bathroom in room, view from room balcony is nice, breakfast, cancellation policy is strict The bad: no keys or locks for dorm rooms, small rooms fitting 8 in a space for 6, okay kitchen with minimal fridge space, no lockers, front desk gone after 7p, unimpressive roof, no parking,...

The Jerusalem Hostel has it all: Friendly and helpful staff, comfortable accommodations, safe, clean, and location location location! Restaurants and shopping are only steps away. The Old City is an easy 15 minute walk or the tram runs right in front of the hostel.

This is a great location but overall lacking in cleanliness. The kitchen floor and frig in the shared kitchen were nasty. Room was stuffy, no fan and no window to open to move air. Was supposed to be AC but it did not keep the room cool enough to be comfortable. We were given heavy bedding, no sheet just a...

Dear Robin, I appreciate the fact you took time to review us. Im sorry you felt that our place wasn't clean enough for you, because that's something we really try to put an effort in. about the bedding and the heat, there is a central air condition, maybe it wasn't strong enough during the night and that why you felt...

This hostel is very small. The management needs to have rules about guests respecting other guests, Too much prosthelyzing. It was very uncomfortable for me. Don't know if I will stay there again. Dorm was okay. room too small for 8 peope. There needs to be some luggage space for those who have alot of stuff.

Dear Sunshinegirlnl, I have to admit i dont really understand the reason for such a bad rank.. if some other guests did not respect you, you could have come right away to reception and we would have solve that problem.. regarding our hostel.. it's not that small.. it has more than 20 rooms and even though im not really sure...

Dear Miki, it was great hosting you with us - and thanks for your good words. about the breakfast - in this one week of passover we are trying to make the religious guests to feel comfortable and thats why we are serving only "matza bread" and not bread, but this is just for this week. in all other times...

Jerusalem Hostel is located in the center of West Jerusalem, so the location is excellent: Everything is near, including the Old Town. The room was clean and cosy for the low cost so the cost-quality ratio is excellent. The breakfast was a bit narrow, but sufficient for filling an early stomach. Coffee, tea and milk was provided. I was pleased...
