Satori hotel is a wonderful hotel in the middle of town, easy access, on-site parking available, and staff is friendly. The roof too, is fun (especially in the evening) with a great view of the sea and the port.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the hotel has a private parking space just around the corner. The hotel and the rooms are a bit dated but for what you pay, they are ok. The rooms are noisy and the breakfast is not continental: don’t expect a lot of things you normally eat if you are living in Europe.
Last sunday I stayed for a night at the Satori hotel in Haifa. I am a tourist guide and my clients were lodged in Haifa so I decided to spend the night there and avoid the early morning rush hour. Satori was an excellent choice. Is a small hotel but comfortable, clean, with parking lot, very well located and offers a good breakfast. They charge a fair price for overnight. Night and morning staff were kind and helpful. I highly recommend this establishment in Haifa.
Very nice place. Excellent service. The breakfast was very good. The room was clean and nicely designed. Previous to our visit, we read reviews here in TripAdvisor, and they were very bad. Afterward, we realized that they referred to the former owners' time. Now it seems that the boutique hotel is totally different in a very positive way.
Check in was friendly. We were asked if we wanted to add the buffet breakfast for $17 per person. We said no, there is a Cofix (coffee and sandwich shop) next door. Upon entering the room-429, it had a strong smell of cigarettes. I had not specified a non-smoking room. I went down and asked if there was another room available for non-smokers. I was told there was not. It was after 11PM so I just went back up to the room to get some sleep. The windows were so thin we could hear every car that passed by and every conversation that people outside were having. I turned the heat on and after about 30 minutes, I realized it wasn't working. I was warm in my bed and opted not to get out and complain. In the morning, the shower was terrible. The handheld sprayer didn't clip onto the wall properly so the spray went straight down the back wall and with only a glass wall that went about half way the length of the tub, the water was free to spill onto the floor. I went down the the front desk and explained the problems with the room and requested a new room, which I did get. I was moved to 404 and had a completely different experience. The heat worked and it was quiet. The shower was a hot tub with only a hand held sprayer, which I am not very good at using, but I was able to keep the majority of the water in the tub. There was body wash but no shampoo or hair dryer. Housekeeping did come but only changed out the towels. Our beds were left unmade.…
