Four of us, two rooms for two nights while we explored the historical areas nearby. We had a bugger of a time finding a place to park and when only after we did get parked could we discover that the hotel is not actually accessible by car anyway. It is on a pedestrian way with the parking lot about a...

The room wasn't ready when I arrived so I was moved to a cheaper room with a street view rather than a room with the castle view i booked online. Not cool I thought but it turned out to be more advantageous for me because I paid 10 euros lesser and I didn't need the castle view after all because...

I agree with most of the other posts but there are some downsides to this Hotel. Location great, friendly helpful staff, suitable breakfast and room cleaned every day. Now the not so good. Booked in April, the room was not available so went to another cheaper room, they were going to shift me the next day, not worth it. Room...

It was a good stay place. The room was so clean and the breakfast was so good in my opinion. I missed the potato they cooked. The neighborhood was quite. And also the receipsionist was quite cute. I mean, polite. See u again

Many people interpret a 5 star review to mean that the hotel is glamorous with lots of extras. Urkmez is not glamorous. But it is clean, friendly, fun and very affordable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful or accommodating. It's a short hop from town to Ephesus. You can walk if you...

I stayed in this lovely hotel in 2009 and then saga in in 2015. I was happy to see that it has maintained its great quality and even made some improvements. Convenient location, great view from the terrace, tasty breakfast, clean and cozy rooms. The owners and staff very friendly and accommodating. In 2009 they were kind enough to pick...

We've stayed at some great places during this trip but the urkmez was without doubt the best nights stay we've had on this trip. The room was clean and tidy, the staff friendly and couldn't help enough and the breakfast view was awesome. The breakfast itself was very good too :-) The hotel itself is a little awkward to find...

Decided to stay in Selcuk to be closer to sites in particular Ephesus. While not fancy it has everything that you need. The breakfast was really good, and the location is great. The town is nice also, and the area around the hotel gives it a small town feel with pretty good restaurants. Mainly the guys who run it are...

We stayed a week at the Urkmez Hotel, using it as a base for seeing historical sites and enjoying the area. It is basic but comfortable, and not expensive. The people running it are very friendly and extremely helpful. There is a good selection of things for breakfast, which is on the top (5th) floor, with a wonderful view across...

I chose this hotel because even their very worst reviews had nothing negative to say about the helpfulness and friendliness of the owners and staff. That, to me, is far more important than lifts, huge bedrooms or posh bathrooms. We had a comfortable room on the quieter side of the hotel with a lovely balcony to watch the storks nesting...
