As a group of friends touring the area for a few days, we found this hotel had everything we wanted. It is set in a traditional building, which may need some refurbishment but actually is interesting and charming just as it is. The rooms were warm - important when the winter weather is cold and wet outside - with modern...

The hotel was very antique style, so when I went into the hotel, I felt like going back to the middle ages. The hotel lobby was always warm with the fireplace, even with the restaurant. The room was very romantic with the antique style decorations. It was in the middle of January, so it was rainy and very cold outside...

...Although we haven't been to any other hotels in Selçuk, the Kalehan was all around a great visit, especially for the price. We went during the winter, so it wasn't really crowded at all, and it wasn't high season for the nice-looking garden and swimming pool. The staff was very friendly, and the room was cozy, clean, and quiet. The...

Hotel Kalehan was a lovely spot - nice people working there and a comfortable room which we found on short notice in September. Just a short distance to Ephesus, too. Great breakfast buffet, and a nice dinner menu. A bargain!

We stopped here for two days in November, off season, to a warm reception. The staff were enthusiastic and attentive. They responded quickly and effectively to our requests. The room was comfortable and the food was good. The cinnamon tea was delicious. They had good advice about the town and about visiting Ephesus and other sites in the area. We had...

I stayed here with a tour group and found the hotel to be quite pleasant. This place has a homely feel with Western standards and a comfortable setting. I liked that when your entered it was more like going to someone's house as opposed to driving up to a grand hotel. Meals were good along with a good selection. They...

A good hotel for a couple of nights to visit the sights around Selcuk and of course Ephesus. The room we had was a superior room and was full of character as was the rest of the hotel. It is a bit of a busy place as it is used by French tour groups so no quite relaxing meals in...

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. We were not pleased with the first room we were given when we arrived but were moved the next day to a lovely room with a view of the garden. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the centre of the town and to the Basilica of St-John. The...

This establishment, just a few hunderd yards conveniently out of town is an oasis of calm in the garden with its two residence blocks. Across the narrow back lane and facing on the main road (but not in the least noisy) is the restaurant which is often crowded as they cater for passing tour busses. The staff are fautlessly courteous...
