We had a pleasant stay at hotel eve house, simple but enjoyable. The staff were very helpful and tried their best to meet our needs, even went to the great lengths of buying us our favourite ice cream as they knew how much we loved it, much appreciated. We will definitely visit again. Thank you hotel eve house :)

This hotel was terrible. Poor condition and poor attitude towards customers. No commitment at all. The staff was incompetent and lazy. The rooms were small and dirty and the bathrooms were extremely small. A very bad experience. Do NOT stay here while in istanbul.

We arrived at the hotel, the man behind the desk "checking us in" made a number of phone calls in Turkish. After awhile, we asked if there was a problem and he said no. 15 mins later (30 total) he informed us that they did not have a room for us at this hotel, but if we get in a...

the room that we booked was according to the description shown on the pictures at the the booking.com's homepage. In reality, the room was not even near the description from the homepage. Instead of windows, it had a metal door behind the curtains. There was no lobby, just two men working under a stairwell. The bathroom was dirty, and very...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
