Literally, next to the Blue Mosque, whcih is super convenient for waking around main attractions of Istanbul. Also, the view from the rooftop terrace is amazing, which makes this hotel worth staying. This is a kind of budget hotel, so the room was small but...More
Very nice traveller hotel in walking area from all Istanbul sightseeing. Rooms are very small, only bad and litlle room around, WiFi working , not very fast in all areas. There is nice terasse for evening drink.
Directly behind the Blue Mosque the location is superb. On a quiet street I would highly recommend this Hotel. On the roof there is a great view of the minarets of the Mosque in one direction and the ships at anchor in the bay in...More
Lovely old house converted into a small hotel in the heart of the historic district, Sultanahmet, with a stunning view of the Blue Mosque from the roof, however, woken at 4.30am every morning with the extremely loud prayer call. Staff friendly and breakfast was good...More

With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
