The location is wonderful (heart of Sultanhamet) and the view from terrace is great (Bosforo, Blue Mosq and Aya Sofia). We found the sfaff nice and welcoming. The breakfast was nothing really special apart from the tasty omelette. The room was just ok.

We stayed for 2 nights near the end of our 15 day Turkey tour in the suite of Turk Art. It was a delightful stay! First off, the location is beyond good. Its on a side street opposite Four Seasons hotel and after a 2 min walk you have Aya Sofia on the right and Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet on...

My husband and I visited Istanbut for the very first time and stayed at Muhlis Bey Hotel from 29th Nov. to 2nd dec. 2013. We booked on-line not knowing anything about this hotel other than its location to major attractions. The hotel was indeed in the hub of everything worth seeing for a first time visitor. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
