This hotel receives our top grade, only down side is the rooms, higher rate rooms are good in size and location but the other ones are bit on the small side and the position is not good as the other rooms but still decently located. Otherwise it's a great hotel, excellent location, near all the attractions and museums, they provide... More

Excellent traditional turkish hospitality provided by the staff, they are great, they help arrange many daily activities for us, made sure we made the best of our visit to Istanbul. Great location too, across Hagia Sofia, short walk to Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace. Grand Bazar is close by also, if you decide to walk it would take about 15... More

This hotel is sadly not what it seems...and has been the worst hotel on our month long trip. Amazing location but this is where the 4 stars ends. We were given a room which was so small you couldn't have your luggage open and walk around the bed and was nothing like the pictures on the website. It was like... More

I think one of the reasons that made this hotel one of our favorite is the hotel personal, they make you feel like one of the family, there very warm, friendly, go happy, helpful, kind, polite and very professional. Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
