Lovely hotel with great service, excellent rooms, and a central location for exploring the city centre. And to top it off (no pun intended), on the top floor is the excellent Frankie restaurant (I believe a separate operation from the hotel itself). The only very slight problem is that the street in front of the hotel is one-way and very...

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the luxurious shopping area in Istanbul "Nistantasi"… I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Rooms are super clean, spacious, and very comfortable and the luxury bathroom with generous shower was amazing. The staff are extremely professional, sweet and just want to help. I really liked the location because the area...

I arrived to check in later in the evening, after an exhausting trip (including being afflicted with a horrible cold) to other areas in Turkey, to discover I had left all of my charging cords (two phone and a tablet) at my previous stop. The front desk attendant was extremely sympathetic, and while the hotel didn't have any more cords,...

The hotel was nice and staff was very friendly. The only thing is I thought the Deluxe room came with a bathtub as I have a toddler it was quite difficult to bath. There was no mirror in the room either which I'm assuming is basic necessity in a hotel room! Other than that it was a pleasant stay and...

My best hotel find in this beautiful city. Well worth the visit, and very well priced for a 5 🌟 boutique hotel. I always come back and the service level remains superb! Nestled in the heart of artsy Nisantasi, you will be able to browse many art galleries, and shop at world famous luxury stores!

Have stayed at the Sofa hotel multiple times over the previous few years. I like the location of the hotel in the Nisantasi area, which is walkable or a short taxi ride to Moçka Park, Dolmabahce Palace, Taksim Square, and Galata Tower. The hotel is modern, very clean, efficient, and very comfortable all at a modest price. Although there is...

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
