The staff there are very friendly and kind. I don't even worry about the trips cause they can arrange everything for us. It has the most good views and convenient location. Shuttle bus was arranged since we arrived at the airport.

Worst hotel ever seen in my life! The room was small with a window to no where. A bathroom was dirty with mould on a floor. Towels were with huge holes! So sad that I didn't take any pictures :( There was a noise every night until late midnight from neighbourhood. Staff was impolite, unfriendly, unwelcoming. Food of breakfast wasn't...

The hotel isn´t in good condition and totally overpriced. I wouldn´t recommend it as there are so many other options which couldn´t be worse. The local situation it quite okay even it is in plain tourist section, but rooms are small frequently without any view and far away from modern standards

After having to book this hotel at short notice, we received. A warm welcome, although a little difficult to find at first it is well situated for the blue mosque and others, very close to a selection of bars and restaurants ( there was some noise, but we had a room in the front) we were offered a choice of...

We visited Istanbul in August 2013 and it was a great experience, partly because of the very nice and helpfull staff. Altun and Daria were both of assistence and provided us with information and even lend us money and an Istanbulcard (because we were there during Ramadan and some exchange offices and shops were closed). The hotel has a nice...

I am so glad I was given a recommendation to stay at Vezir. The location is right where you want to be to see the top sights of Istanbul. The friendly and helpful staff will arrange tours, shuttles, and appointments, as well as offer solid advise and what to see and do. The rooms are clean and tidy, nothing fancy;...

Stayed here with myself, my daughter & 4 friends in June, definately recommend it, Altun was an absolute legend & looked after us so well - she's the hotel manager & was able to organise a trip to the beach for us too! Hotel is literally 5 min walk from the Blue Mosque & all the sights in & around...

My family and I have just spent a wonderful few days in Istanbul and stayed at The Vezir. It was ideal for us. First, let's get the couple of negatives out of the way. There are parts of this hotel that are "tired". The shower curtain did not hang within the shower tray thus soaking the bath mat and the...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
