The hotel is centrally located and very close to different transport alternatives. The employees were polite and helpfull. Room and gym was good, but breakfast was unsatisfied. You can go to better places around Taksim for breakfast. One of the most beautiful things about the hotel is the black and white Ara Güler photos hanging in the rooms.

The room where I was staying was pretty large and very comfortable. The room was very clean and the service was good, as the cleaning lady was visiting it every day. The receptionists were very kind. If I had a chance, I would spend there more time!

The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. I had a problem with my shower draining at the first day, but they were very prompt in taking care of the matter. The breakfast was ok, but the wait staff were very attentive and courteous!

From outside it is decent. I get it, that the first floor can not be the best option, but the room was like a jail-cell (for a 4-5 star hotel). The single window was opening only vertically - straight out to a wall, the window sill was full of birdshi8, and like 5 years old dirty. Probably the kitchen ventilation...

Location of this hotel is the best thing about it. It is just next to the Havabus station (the station from where airport buses come and go). Taksim square is also nearby at walking distance. The hotel staff is very friendly and co-operative and the rooms are nicely furnished. Breakfast was too good. Best thing about it was the 'evil...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
