My husband and I stayed in room 103. PROS: This is a quaint hotel and in a convenient location in the old part of the city. All you have to do is walk, maybe, 3-4 blocks and you are located on the Sultanahmet Square. The breakfast buffet has an arrange of food, pleasantly presented. The rooms are clean and tidy....

This is how we felt at this Hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Extra towels, use an iron, offer to send your laundry out, organise any tour you want, recommend restaurants and at end of the day happy to spend time with you. Ahmed, Ramozarn, Sarbo, Mashallah and Zeki you all do a great job and you made our weeks...

We stayed here for only one night on the 5th of April.Serjei was on the front desk whilst we were there and was so helpful and informative. A special thankyou to him and the owner for letting us have a late checkout. Our plane flew out late in the evening. it meant so much to us to be able to...

The hotel is cozy, clean and quiet in a great location. The room so warm it feels like home away from home. It is a few minutes walk to the beautiful and famous sites of the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque; close by other monuments, sites and the tram stop. The breakfast room on the top floor provides a great view of...

The competition is tight in the Sultanahmet area. But for just 25 euros a single, you would find this one hard to beat. Admittedly, the room was a bit small with poor lighting for evening reading. But it had a balcony and the breakfast spread on the top floor with views over the Bosporus was one of the highlights of...

Great little spot in old town, a roof top breakfast served fresh by local women, heated towel rack and a great shower. The rooms are mostly taken up by beds, but were adequate as one wants to explore not sit in the room. Friendly desk staff. I highly recommended!

We loved our stay at this hotel. First, the location is perfect - 3 min walk from Sultan Ahmed square and Hagia Sophia. The roof terrace has an amazing view on the Bosporus. The breakfast was very good. My second visit to this hotel and I'll go there again. Thanks for everthing. :)

Very nice and clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. The view from the roof terrace was amazing. I took one point off because the sound proof is not very good, light sleeper might need to be aware of this.

Place is great, location is awesome, all major historical places are very close, 5-10 min walking. The front desk guy helped us to book Bosphorus Tour next day. Breakfast lady was very nice and friendly. We were staying in room with 3 beds,(not sure was it family or triple) which was seemed little bit small but we didn't spend much time at...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
