Just a scary little hotel. Full of moll and dirty. Situated into a strange area into Istanbul Favela. The owner is also owner of Kumcapi Konagi a more nicer hotel but if you have reservation there (as I have) he will invent all sort of stories (like for us he told us the hotel is fluded) and send to this...

I ended up in this hotel because the Kumkapi Konagi Hotel that I originally booked was overbooked. As a result I was brought to Altun Hotel. To start with, the neighborhood is horrible full of prostitution and drugs. The hotel is awful: dirty beds and covers, filthy and broken bathroom. It's a musty mustiness hotel. It's placed in favela (mahala) in a very strange neighborhood. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting. And i could't trust the other guests. The room was so small that you could't open your luggage anywhere.

The location it's excelent.. At the end of the street is grand bazaar. The rooms are small(like in all other hotels in this area) the price is ok.. Other hotels in this are (like altun hotel) are +- 10 TL .. Only the owner speak english.. With the other 2 guys it's hard.. Turko-english :) A private parking is in...
