It is not a luxurious property, but is downtown and quite pleasant to stay in. Free Wi-Fi (works well), decent food, free bottled water and all very affordable. There is a safe and coffee and tea making facilities. Largish room and bathroom. Really does the job. Just aching to redo their deco though....Ladies: shop a bit further up the street...

I could score 4 stars because my room location and view were very good. Such rooms are very few and were granted to special guests. Since there was no classification for smoking and non-smoking rooms, some colleagues had rooms that smelled tobacco with a dull view The wardrobes are restricted to certain types of clothing. They don't fit long dresses...

This place in its current version is a shame for the Wyndham flag. First of all the service is miserable. Undeniably lazy, unmotivated individuals at the front desk & restaurant (only one out of 12 seemed to be genuinely interested in his job). Not to mention that very few speak any English at all. Hence, the rest of the staff...

Nice hotel, close to Taksim Square, metro, tram, bus and cable car. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was ok, with a good variety and quality. Lots of restaurants and shops around the hotel, mainly at Istikal Cd.

We stayed here just one night but thought the hotel great value for money. The room was clean and modern, shower great and good wi-fi connection. We stayed at this hotel on the final leg of our Turkey trip this May/June. Was a let down from the other places we had stayed at during the trip mainly because of the extremely unhelpful reception staff. We were unsatisfied with our rooms since both had a view of the office building next door. Reception staff were rude and...

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
Sisli
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
