While not 5 star, this is a Greta little find only minutes from Galata Towre and many of Isatnbuls sites. The view if you get a Bosphoros side room is incredible. Erkan, the host, was very helpful and very friendly. The only thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is the noisy A/C, and the lack of dark curtains,... More

Very close to Galata Tower, approx 2 minutes walk away. Uphill walk of 5 minutes to Istiklal Street. Apartment has a microwave, full size fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. View of Bosphorous from room was beautiful. A reception area as well as staff manning it would be a fantastic bonus which the apartments do not have.

We stayed 9 nights and would highly recommend these apartments. The apartments are not luxurious, but they are light, spacious and clean, excellent location and good value for money. Also Erkan Nurel, who manages the apartments, is highly efficient and very obliging. We spent 3 nights in apartment 302 which has a view of Galata Tower and was fine, we... More

The way to the apartment was difficult as it is located on a hill so don't think about shopping if you don't use a taxi in your way back to the apartment. We were surprised when we reached as there was no reception and you should contact the owner one day prior to your check in to arrange for receiving... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights after coming from a nightmare apartment. This one is amazing. 1) It's clean with modern furniture. Rooms are big and just beautiful. 2) The location is perfect. Beyoglu is extremely hilly, there's no getting around it. But this is situate at a place that makes getting to other places very convienent.... More

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
