Seljuk and his younger colleges treated us o a warm welcome in this cosy and affordable little nook in Istanbul. The rooms were comfortable but a little smaller than we as first time visitors to Istanbul expected. We bombarded the staff with questions about everything from recipes to politics and they always found answers for us. A home away from...

I stayed a few nights last week. Istanbul was colder than anticipated but the welcome was warm and the manager was extremely helpful when I needed some minor medical attention. I recommend this place.

This was our first time in Istanbul and we felt very welcome at Tom Square Boutique Hotel from the first to the last day there. In a familiar atmosphere they offer a good turkish breakfast; everything is neat and clean from the nice bathroom to the bed. It's ten minutes to walk to the Grand Bazar (also the T1 Tram...

with his close proximity (walking distance) to Sultanahmet, Topkapi place, Blue mosque and Hagia Sopihia the Tom Square Boutique Hotel provides an excellent location for a visit to Istanbul. Just walk up the street and you will be dining and shopping in the Grand Bazar. We spent 3 nights here in a small but cozy room in the attic. Selçuk...

We spent a week here over New Years Eve. The hotel was in a great location about 15 minutes walk from both the Grand Bazaar and the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia area. The room had everything we needed and the hotel staff are very helpful. As mentioned they don't provide a key to the front door but for the most...

We stayed 4 nights this October in this small cozy hotel. Ali and Selcuk were nice, friendly and helpful! Our room was small but clean and comfortable. Although due to third-party website problem, the hotel refused to give us free breakfast. We understand it was not the hotel's fault and after complaining with the third-party website, we got some account...

Stayed here during my first holiday abroad, and absolutely loved it! The rooms were clean, cute and cosy, and the hotel manager was a gracious and helpful host, as were his daughters. The breakfast was nice too. The hotel itself is in the perfect location, close to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Sultanahmet Square, and easily connected to via...

Staying in Sisli

Neighbourhood Profile
For much of Istanbul’s history, Sisli and the area just north of Taksim Square were open countryside used mostly as hunting grounds. These days, Sisli and its chic streets are considered the very heart of contemporary Istanbuli life, where an epicenter of fashion and a thriving business district meet to create an expressly “downtown” feel. Though largely a residential neighborhood, luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, and upscale shops abound with many of them situated inside or nearby Cevahir Istanbul, the biggest shopping mall in Europe and second biggest urban shopping mall in the world. Shopaholics and fashionistas travel from near and far to browse the area's mix of major global brand items and creations by popular Turkish designers.
