We have stayed in many hotels with executive lounge access but thought we'd take a humble approach whilst in Turkey and do not regret it one bit. On arrival staff were extremely hospitable with tea and biscuits and city information until our room was ready. Breakfast was simple but very satisfying with authentic turkish breakfast. This place really made you...

Be careful if staying at this hotel. The room description changes and is not correct. We booked a Jr. Suite 89 Euro per night, which was overbooked and not available when we arrived. We ended up in a tiny (less than 200 sq ft) room on the fifth floor walk up. The Jr suite is in the basement. No compensation...

This is a really nice small hotel. Rooms are clean, breakfast is really good and the staff is super friendly. Location is pretty centric and within walking distance you are in the main attractions. Lots of restaurants within 1 block that are open late!

Stayed here 4 nights for the Istanbul portion of our trip and it was great! Location was amazing. The hotel was located on a cute street with shops and restaurants. It was minutes to walk to all the main tourist sites - Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the square, markets, and the palace. Service was fantastic. The lady at the front...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
