The best place to visit Istanbul.
Extremely helpful, kind, polite and generous staff.
Very clean and quiet.
Beautiful view from the roof-terrace where the delicious breakfast is offered.
The only inconvenient point is that there is no negative comment to make.
Thanks to the management....More
Friendly, helpful staff, lovely breakfast on an enclosed rooftop terrace, lovely patio garden, clean, comfortable room -- all at a very reasonable price and in a super location just below the Blue Mosque. Couldn't ask for anything more! The hotel is located in a heritage...More
The hotel is very cozy, with just a few rooms and nice decoration. We were quite lucky and had a double room with a guest room, so despite we didn´t make use of the extra beds, it was nice to have such big space for...More
More quite location than I would expect for location such close to tourist's most important sites; rooms are small, but clean, but we did not miss more space, as we stayed out in the city all day. Breakfast is good with all, what we expect...More
We have stayed four times at the Tashkonak. We love the the warmth of the staff and the very calm and efficient way that they sort things out. The location is ideal for us, being in a quiet area, away from the tourists but also...More
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
