Enjoyed a three day stay here in April 2015. Surely the best feature of this hotel is the restaurant with its stunning views! Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Room was basic but clean. Street noise can be a problem from the trams that run past the front door so the higher floors will be quieter.

The hotel is situated in a good position, the staff is very kindly and helpful. Breakfast is good but there isn't any type of croissants or something sweet ( cookies, cakes , etc. )breakfast room is located on the top floor of the building with an amazing view. The room is nice and clean but nothing special .

The best part about this hotel is the location. Just minutes walk away from the Tram Station, the Metro Station as well as from many historical sites, and also the spice bazaar and grand bazaar, this is the perfect place for someone who is visiting Istanbul for the first time. The Staff is mostly friendly and speak fairly good english...

A hotel which gives you value for money while staying walking distance from the historical old world famous Istanbul sites. Liked the clean rooms and variety in the breakfast buffet. You can walk to several historical sites and save on travel costs. The tram runs in front of the hotel and also provides for drop to the airport by mini-bus...

We stayed for 2 nights at Seres Hotel in the room with three single beds on the 6th floor. It was really nice to open the window and take in the sights and sounds of Sultanahmet but with windows closed, it wasn't noisy. The room was spacious, clean and the beds comfortable. The washroom was also clean and tidy and was...

This is a typical city hotel, the standard double room being small with limited space for hanging clothes and a small but adequate bathroom. The location is excellent being close to the major mosques, Topkapi museum and the ferries. It's also on the main tram line which means if you're at the front of the hotel, it's going to be...

The location is the best about this hotel. It couldnt be better. Short walk to all the major sights (5-10min). A lot of nice restaurants in the same area. The tram is passing by just outside the hotel connecting you with all of Istanbul. Just a short walk to the Galata bridge and the shopping street Istlikal caddesi on the...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
