Standard interieur, no attractions, beds and furniture okay. No extras, but excellent located. No tools for business work, but free internet. Like in most turkish city hotels no fresh or good coffee (only turkish coffee). Frindly reception.

Modern, clean and close to everything. The stuff was friendly and always helpful. We didnt have a room with the view on Bospor, but we didnt mind :). The best way to get to the hotel is to take a bus from airport to the Taksim than walk.

We stayed here late in September 2015. I booked early at a rate of AU$95 for a standard room but we needed to stay an extra night and as there were no standard rooms available we had to pay AU$155 for a superior room for the final night. We stayed a total of three nights. The standard room is very...

Stayed @ Cihangir Hotel in mid-August and it was excellent. Room was a bit small but spotlessly clean everyday. Breakfast was ample and delicious and hotel staff were always welcoming and very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. 2 minute walk from Taksim square, so very central.

The hotel is new and modern. The rooms are clean. It has fast wifi, I was watching movies for hours and it never went off. Nice breakfast. Great location - 5 minutes from Taksim square and Istiklal street, the main street for shopping, bars and restaurants. People at reception are friendly and helpful. Even though the hotel is close to...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
