Despite the hospitality of its personnel, the hotel is too small and old fashionable. the elevator is very small and it can hardly fit 4 persons at a time. the breakfast is very poor and offers very little variaty of food. the room was very small and it smells sewage. the water from the tap smells the sewage too. the...

The staff was professional but not very welcoming. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was delicious and varied. The eating area is small especially when you are in a group trip. There is an access to underground metro and Marmaray to go to many places in Istanbul. Things can be better anyway

We stayed here for 3 nights on october 2014 and i can say it was a very pleasant hotel. The staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is rather good. It was great for the price we paid. We got a free dinner and a plate with cakes and one with fruits form the hotel. It...

We spent there 4 nights and there is a lot missing to a top hotel. The elevator in the morning is pretty blocked by the cleaners (who didn't find the charger I left in the bathroom plug). The interior was fresh a generation before. The breakfast is heartless and boring with bad coffee. In the neighborhood there is a nightclub...

A little bit hard to find this hotel, the taxi driver had troubles with it, though I took taxi 5 minutes from this place (for 20 TL - be aware! too much). Double room costs 55 USD with breakfasts. Comfortable bed inside, bed linen and towels changed everyday. Clean bathroom, fridge, TV, telephone and gratis internet WIFI in the rooms....

I stayed with a friend for 4 nights in the Avlonya Hotel. After the arrival at Sabiha Gökcen we took a taxi from Taksim Place for the fixed price of 20 TL. Seems a bit expensive now but well... The two receptionists were quite friendly and helpful and their knowledge of English was sufficient for our needs. Although we arrived...

I chose this hotel after the recommendation of a collegue and I stayed there several times. This is a real three star hotel chartered from the Turkish Tourism and Culture Ministry. I had to stay in a hotel near old town related with my business. There are sure many hotels in old town of Istanbul with much better locations, but...

The hotel is at a stone's throw from Beyazit Boulevard, about 5-6 minutes brisk walk. From there you can either walk or take the tram to reach the historical centre of Istanbul. The hotel staff is friendly enough and ready to please the customers. Whenever we had a problem it was duly taken care of. The room we stayed in...
