Nice views which is the best asset of this hotel. Overall in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was below average with undrinkable coffee-really poor quality. Location it was not too bad to go to Taxim and Ishabar but I would reccomment something more central. I suppose you get what you pay for.

Me and my wife Stayed at Europlaza for 3 days after searching for a budget hotel at Taxim area. The view of the hotel is excellent unlike the other 4* hotels at Taxim area.Rooms are a little bit small but clean and the staff very polite and helpful. If it was renovated would be one of the best 4* hotels.The...

When I first saw that hotel I thought it to be ugly, when I got inside I was disappointed by the plastic flowers. The view though was great. My room was very dirty, the maid was coming but didn't clean it she just changed towels and sometimes sheets. If they cleaned it Europlaza would be a very good hotel and it...

you could see the leakage of Toilet and other pipelines together with the slightly unpleasant smell both from the bathroom and bedsheets. Breakfast was Ok but not so perfect and there is a beatiful balkony which has a great view of Istanbul for getting seated but rooms are quit poor! you can even walk to the city center as hotel...

We stayed there for 4 nights. They kept us waiting for check in from 08:30 in the morning till 17:00. The receptionist and all the staffs are very very rude and impolite and very unfriendly. This hotel is just a 2 star hotel not 4. I can just say that "Not go to this Hotel". Please do not stay in...

We stayed at Euro Plaza Hotel in Istanbul for 5 nights in early August, for a mixture of business and leisure time. The staff made a reasonable effort to be helpful, but were quite pressured as the hotel seems to get most of its business through package tours from Russia and Iran, so guests arrive in large numbers. The rooms...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
