The staff go out of their way to help all travellers, which is why I would 100% recommend this hotel. We are used to big chain hotels, this was a welcome change. It looks exactly as the pictures. Very close to everything and good value for money. I look forward to staying here again when next in Istanbul.

Can highly recommend this hotel. Great location and the staff are both friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good and so is the tea and coffee on the roof top patio. Get a deluxe room for the extra space.

A wonderful and reasonably priced small boutique hotel (boutique in all senses) located in a quiet street in the old Constantinople and close to everything. In fact, less than one minute and you are in the old Roman hippodrome. Rooms and common areas are tastefully decorated. Lobby occupies the whole first floor and is a great area to hang around....

Our group of 2 had heard a lot about this boutique hotel for a few years, and finally got to try it. Suffice to say, it lived up to reputation! Quality of decor & furnishings is good, conveying a connection to the Ibrahim Pasha era. We stayed in a suite with balcony, sofa, marble bathroom with rain shower. Breakfast spread...

Every year I return to the Ibrahim Pasha Hotel. Steps away from the Blue Mosque, with a wonderful rooftop terrace, the location is perfect. From the moment you arrive you are treated like a treasured guest. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and clean, and the breakfast delicious. I can't wait to return next year!

Ibrahim Pasha hotel was fantastic! Everyone working there was friendly and accommodating, and the hotel itself was beautiful - especially the downstairs reading area. Also very well located near to many interesting sites, bars and restaurants.

Istanbul was beautiful, cold and rainy. The Hotel Ibrahim Pasha – a stone's throw from the Hippodrome and the Blue Mosque – was warm and welcoming. A log fire in the lobby. Tea, delicious coffee and cakes around the clock. Very helpful recommendations printed on handy detailed maps and on the website. A wonderful staff. They arranged a tour of...

This was the second time I have stayed at Ibrahim Pasha; the first was in 2011. I was visiting friends in Istanbul (where I lived for 3.5 years!) and decided to treat myself again this time around. From the very moment you walk in you feel like you're in someone's house, beautiful open fire, gorgeous furnishings and so very comfortable....

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
