We booked a triple room, but one was not available when we arrived, so the hotel gave us 2 adjoining rooms at the same price. A very fair resolution, I think. The staff were very friendly, and always willing to answer questions and help with...More
This is an extremely basic hotel without much to offer except a pleasant breakfast room. The A/C they claimed to have was absolutely ineffective, so we spent two sweltering nights with the windows open to the very noisy street. We would have left after the...More

I will highly recommend this hotel because of exceptional customer service. I'm glad I chose Artefes Hotel it's so close to many tourist spots. Breakfast was very good with a great view on roof top. Serdar one of the hotel's crew was really helpful.
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to
retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
Yes, as I book via the hotel's website for more than 3-day of stay, I got free airport pick-up. Then I took a bus to the airport for just EUR5, just around the corner. You just need to buy the ticket at least 1 day earlier.
