I had been to the Conrad repeatedly for business about 15 years go. When I arrived this time, it was very nice that the friendly hotel doorman and I immediatey recognized each other. He has been working at the Conrad since 1993. Although the hotels...More
Conrad was defiantly my oasis of calm in this big, busy city. Every time we came from the city center we could just stop, relax and breath calmly.
So let’s start from the beginning. We didn’t take the Bosphorus view or upgrade, the day we...More

Stayed 6 days at the Conrad Istanbul Bosphorus. Rooms were clean, reasonably spacious and had all the conveniences required. Showers were excellent and washrooms were spacious and well laid out. Overall the building was lovely and had excellent amenities (pool, well equipped gym).
During my stay at Conrad hotel, I find myself obliged to thank Mr Koray Kappan and Mr Meltem Duram for being helpful and cooperative that made my stay pleasant. I would extend my deep appreciation to Mr Sefa and Mrs Ikbal who were very professional...More
In Besiktas, skyscrapers compete with palaces for space in an upscale vista replete with hilly green parkland filling in the margins. Step into this rather wealthy neighbourhood and discover a rich mix of opportunities to shop, dine, and be entertained. For folks in search of urban buzz, not to mention a constant reminder of just how important Istanbul’s waterways are to its rich history, there's the
frenetic Besiktas ferry terminal or the city’s most vibrant fish market to explore. For a timeout of metropolitan proportions, head to the bucolic Yildiz Park or the chic Bosphorus-side fishing village of Ortakoy. Attractions such as the grandiose Dolmabahce Palace and a bevy of other stately residences await admiration. To be sure, this large and not overly touristy swath of Istanbul yields plenty of pleasure for all.
