So my Wife and I spent 5 days in Istanbul which had a day of travel to Cappadocia. The Hotel staff was superb in accommodating our luggage that we did not wish to carry. They helped us plan our itinerary to make sure we saw and experienced everything that we must as travellers to Turkey. Also, the rooms are excellent,...

A hidden Gem, this hotel is more like a Boutique Hostel, with such a great decoration and they make sure you are very comfortable. Located in Taksim (modern part of Istanbul with nightlife close to it), walking distance 8-10 minutes from Taksim square, very well decorated big room with nice bed, very nice bathroom, good breakfast and the guys at...

I went Taksim Plussuite Hotel alone, I chose this hotel by reading reviewing on the internet. The hotel is 4 stars but I think is Not more than 3 stars. Restaurant is underground and they just served breakfast that was NOT appropriate for a 4 stars hotel. The positive point of this hotel is that Taksim Plussuite Hotel is located...

Small hotel near Taksim square, very clean and solicitous staff. Pro: location, cleannes, staff Asptects to improve: breakfast (it would be nice more variety of fresh frutis and juices). Take into account the street is narrow and it is not easy to reach by taxi Recommended place to visit Istanbul using public transportation.

I enjoyed my stay at this small hotel very much. It is well-located on a relatively quiet street near Taksim Square and the metro station. It has been thoroughly renovated and the rooms are clean and very nice. My friend and I had one of the two penthouse rooms and some other friends had the other penthouse room, so we...

I had a really happy stay in PlusSuite Hotel in June 2015. The hosts were very welcoming and they had good English. Also, I have also been borrowed an adapter and an iron during my stay, which was great.

3 nights in Istanbul and this Hotel was just perfect. Located near Taksim, but still a quiet street. The room was nice and clean, the bed was fine. The bathroom was very modern and clean. All employees were very friendly and helpful. The only minus is a breakfast with quite a lot of room for improvement.

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.

“Best part of the hotel is its location. It is just 100-200 mts from Taksim square and Istiklal street. The Havatas shuttle stop near Point hotel too is very closeby. The location of the hotel will allow easy transportation by either Bus, tram or metro to any part of Istanbul.”
