Went there for a night and they stole 100 TL from me. Dont trust them about prices because they lie and steal from you and you can't do anything. When I tried to get my money back, they shouted at me and told me i can't do anything about it.........................................

We stayed at this hotel for a week, and it was not good. The room was much smaller than in the picture, the breakfast was sent up to our floor by elevator and it was bad. No room for table to eat at, we had an extra friend staying with us so we rented an extra bed for him, and...

Family of 4 visited in May. Elevator door opens right within the appartment. It was clean, comfortable and spacious (but only one roll of toilet paper i.e. you will need to start your stay with a small stop at the shop). Only approx. 300 m (flat) to Taksim Metro station and 5 min walk to Istiklal street (try 'Ara Café'...

Nothing great to mention about this hotel. The service was extremely poor, youngsters running the place with no "hospitality". On our first day, our room was not even cleaned! We had no clean towels, no toilet paper and our rubbish bin was overflowing! The heated towel rail was so filthy that it stained our clean towels with black filth! When trying...

I was planning to stay in Nisa Sultan Residence but they told me just three days before my stay that there will a general maintenance so that they had to re-arrange my booking. They arranged a place in Nisa Sultan Taxim Flats, which also belongs to them. It was a very bad experience. Nothing was as promised or as the...

I stayed there with my family from 14th to 18th May 2012. The hotel is a small familly run business. The rooms are really big apartments and have a bedroom, a living room, and a bathroom. In the living room you can also find a small kitchen. There is no restaurant, but they are bringing the breakfast in your room...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Beyoglu
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
