We fell in love with the interior design and quality finishes of this apartment. The restaurant downstairs is very famous and packed for dinner so it was good that we get to have our breakfast there every morning. Everyone from front desk to restaurant owners...More
Many other reviewers have commented about how perfect this is as a place to stay in Istanbul. Karakoy is a happening area of the city five minutes walk from the Galata bridge and tram to Sultanahmed. The staff at Karakoy rooms are friendly and super-helpful,...More
The hotel staff showed exceptional service standards from the moment we stepped into the lobby (in fact at streetside) and right through. Reasonably close to the tourist nerve centre of Istanbul, yet separated by a long bridge with a lot of restaurants close by. Big...More

This is a great, small (10 or 12 rooms) and lovely place in Karakoy, one of the port areas of Istanbul - a 5 minute tram ride over the bridge to the tourist-trap areas of old Istanbul around the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cisterns,...More
Sitting pretty with an age-old air about it, Karakoy is situated on the European side of the Bosphorus at the mouth of the Golden Horn. Perhaps the city’s most historically significant area, it’s currently one of the most happening parts of town as well. Here street vendors and alfresco fish restaurants line the banks of the Horn where the views of major attractions across the water rival Karakoy’s own key attractions,
such as the iconic 14th century Galata Tower and the Museum of Modern Art. A major hub for local and international waterborne traffic, Istanbul’s commercial and maritime heritage remains as relevant and evident as ever in Karakoy. Commuter ferries mingle with luxury cruise liners at its busy port, ensuring a continuously cosmopolitan flow of people..

Yeah but you're better off ordering yourself an Uber. I got it this July for 100 turkish lira exactly. Which comes down to 25 Euros. There are loads of shuttle services in the airport to choose from. Don't pay over 35 Euros/30GBP because they will try to ask double at first.
