Little hotel in the centre of Old town in Istanbul. The location is great, very close to the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. There are also a lot of restaurants. The rooms are clean and very very small, but adequate for sleeping. Breakfast is modest (only cheese, olives, butter and jam), but everything is fresh. View from the terrace is... More

Nice, small hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet, very close to all major attractions of Istanbul. The rooms are bright and clean, although very small, but if you plan to explore the city and not to sit in your room, this is not a problem. Very good wi-fi, tasty breakfast on the roof with an amazing view over the Bosphorus... More

This hotel is right in the heart of the city, a stone's throw away from the Blue Mosque and Sultanahmet. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is nice and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Would recommend to anyone looking for great value for money.

Small hotel (mostly a pension) near to the center of the old town. Even rooms are very small, basically only the bed fits in the room. Odd rooms (and room 102) are a little bit bigger. The breakfast is basic but good, served in a nice terrace with nice view (no elevator though). Main attractions are in a small distance,... More

Knowing that in the old town you mostly find small hotels, narrow escalators and small or not at all elevators, this place is a good value for money. It is in an excellent place close to main attractions, not in the best neighborhood but in the center of everything. Rooms are really small (room 102 is the only exception) but... More

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

“The rooms near the top of the building have less street noise but more noise in the morning when people are having breakfast. So if you will be going out late and getting up late ask for a room on the lower floors but if you like to get up bright and early then a higher room would be better.”
