Great value for money, All the staff were friendly, spoke English, helpful and made us feel looked after. Special Kudo's to Tarik, the Manager, who was extremely helpful, gave us good advice and always had a smile. The airport shuttle was easy, always there and arranged by Tarik. Breakfast was excellent, the staff always so friendly in the morning, the...

Rooms are not large but clean and well appointed. Great location in old part of city. Excellent customer service. Tarik Ozkalkan was Hotel Mgr. Very helpful. Be aware there are no elevators so if you're on fourth floor, like we were, there are stairs to climb.

The staff was very friendly and the gentleman that checked us in gave us a very helpful "first time to Istanbul" briefing. They also were very diligent in getting us a cab to the airport and ensuring the driver was going to give us a fair price. Room was fine - clean, ample amenities, everything worked, bed was comfortable. The...

Room had luxurious feeling, bed was good. I arrived at night and windows were open so air was fresh. Shower worked well and water was hot. Selection on breakfast was good, only omelette was missing. Personnel were friendly and helpful in every turn. Location is excellent, only 5 mins to Blue Mosque and 10 mins to Hagia Sofia. I can...

The first morning the call to prayer nearly knocked me out of bed we were so close to the Mosque. A short walk put you at the big sites and transportation. Great breakfast and shuttle to the airport was very much appreciated. The hotel was very clean and the staff was beyond helpful.

Lovely boutique hotel.very friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful and clean. All sights in walking distance, so the location was perfect. Only minus was the shower floor, it looked like there was mold 🙁 and also walls were very thin, you can hear what your neighbours talk.

I stayed at Sarnic for 5 days with my mum on my holiday to Istanbul. It was a lovely little hotel, cosy and loved that it was so close (walking distance) to all the main attractions such as Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Breakfast buffet was great, all the hotel staff were really kind and helpful. The manager was amazing...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
