Galata Flats are lovely well maintained apartments with nice friendly staff, the location is close to several attractions and a small 400 years small mosque, The cost is high and they need to consider that, The flats are equipped with all appliances and they are well maintained too. Thanks.

Stayed here for four nights in August. We had a two bedroom apartment for 4 of us. We had been travelling for several weeks and chose Galata Flats because it had washing macine and location. Turned out to be very convenient. The apartment is also very roomy and is cleaned every two days. Reception staff are also very helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. There is approximately a 10 minute walk to Galata Tower and there are many restaurants to choose from. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place. Very convenient. Metro station is literally next door. Lots of shops around which gives a very good variety of what one would like to eat. Reception was excellent with a very good response time. We would like to thank Ahmet, Shaban and Ibrahim for taking care of us. A must place to stay. Highly recommended.

We had booked a 1 bedroom flat and when we arrived the manager told us that there was a passenger who had to undergo surgery and therefore our room wasn't available. Ee were upgraded to the 2 bedroom Penthouse with a lovely terrace with a great view of the city. Fully equipped (Cable TV, washing/dryer machine, microwave, kitchen appliances, hairdryer, etc.) within walking distance from Galata Tower, Istiklal Street and great bars.

The location of this place is fantastic. Sishane metro right outside the door, and the Tunel also very close. There is a small grocery market a block away, and many shops and restaurants close by. Istaklal Street is right up the steps, and the Galata Tower is also close by. As for the apartment itself, the kitchen was well stocked. Never quite figured out the washing machine which also dry's. No matter what, the clothes come out damp. Housekeeping supplied detergent, water every other day, and tea and instant coffee, and toiletries. Everyone there was very friendly, from the people at the front desk, to housekeeping. My only beefs: the place wasn't as clean as I would like it. There was a hole on the floor as you walked in, and some construction across the street. Big plus:…

I spent few last days of 2014 and New Year in this service apartments. Even the weather in Istanbul was awful but my time there at Galata Flats was cozy and warm. My apartment was really spacey with kitchen and big dining also separate bedroom. It was not too bright because this beautiful historic building has just few small windows per apartment. Galata Flats is really great located with various of restaurants, bars and cafes around, it's also easy to reach from there to many tourist attractions. Galata Flats is a really good place for couple of friends or even family with kids. My highest recommendation!

I reserved a room at the apartment's web site, and two days later a fraudulent charge appeared on my credit card. The owner uses a .uk email address, and the fraudulent charge originated in London. I shared this with the owner who was quite irate that I would even insinuate that anyone with whom he is associated could be at fault. I tried to explain that this may have simply been a coincidence, that his credit card processor might have been hacked, that the credit card processor might have a dishonest employee...I simply cannot state any of this with any certainty, but only wanted to let him know that, perhaps, he has a problem that should be addressed. He decided to cancel my reservation. Again, I cannot say with certainty what caused the problem and do not want to accuse…

We booked our room very last minute and managed to still get very good service and our room was very nice. The apartment has a very nice layout and quite modern. The place does need some maintenance as a number of things were either not working or broke. Overall we still liked the place very much. It is a bit noisy but acceptable and very centrally located

We stayed 4 days in May 2014 in Galata flats. The location is great as the hotel is only a few steps away from the end station of the cable car that links Beyoglu to Galata bridge. It is a lively area at night with plenty of excellent addresses to dine out. The flat was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The view from the terrace was gorgeous and made us feel the buoyant pulse of the city. The perfect place to have a drink after a long day visiting the city. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely come back.
