We stayed here in Sept 2015. This hotel is modern, clean and sooo comfortable. We stayed for 2 nights on the 4th level and the room was good size and had a comfortable sofa. The details in this hotel blows my mind, down to providing umbrella in the room. They thought of almost everything. The only negatives are: No natural...

Was extremely happy with this hotel, and would recommend it highly. It is very reasonably priced, in a good location, and the interior design is delightfully tasteful. The room and bathroom were very clean and in excellent condition, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

We had four great nights stay here. Great local- it is right off one of Istanbul's main streets and it is easy to get to the main points of interest from here. The staff were polite and welcoming. We had a 'suite' and it was spacious and had all we needed. Overall- fantastic and we would certainly recommend it.

My wife and I selected Stories Hotel for a reunion with 20 friends and family in June, and we were thrilled with the quality, comfort and personal attention each of the staff at Stories offered to us and our guests. From the first email through checkout, Stories staff and management worked hard to ensure our comfort with committed personal service....

I was looking for a moderately priced hotel in the Galata or Taksim area and chanced upon the Stories Hotels. After reading positive reviews on a couple of websites, I decided that the Kumbaraci hotel was in an ideal location for what I wanted--a clean, comfortable, centrally located perch from which to shop, sight-see and hit a club/bar or two....

Hotel cleanliness and location was good. I had sent Mr Korhan a follow up email about our concerns and have not received a follow up response, yet. Though, when it came to making a booking enquiries via email the responses were at latest within the day. I would like to bring to your attention that we were literally having difficulty...

Staying in Beyoglu

Neighbourhood Profile
Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights, shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening nightlife in close proximity. In striking contrast, Beyoglu’s less trafficked areas – such as the affluent Cihangir and the antiques district of Cukurcuma – exude Old World charm and provide contemplative calm and splendid diversion via an assortment of cozy cafes, attractive boutiques, and quiet lanes.
