(We loved the area) A restaurant, steps away, is open till late in the night. and various shops are available to get munchies. The hotel staff is helpful and two...

Not sure I know where to start! We arrived one hour late and the room wasn’t ready. We were shown up at 3 pm to find the floor soaked after a quick mop, our shoes were covered in mud, which promptly made the floor filthy again. I had to clean it up with toilet tissue and came across loads of...

Great location. Great kitchen. Excellent view of the sea nearby. The included breakfast was well done. The personnel that work there are very hospitable people. The service exceeded our expectations. We would come back again to this hotel for sure!

It seems from reading the reviews that other people have had this issue. We paid for a room in this hotel in the morning and left our bags and went sight seeing. Upon our return at 9pm we were told by the manager that our room has been double booked. So here we were with a baby in a quiet...

This was a decent hotel, the staff were very friendly and the hotel was near the main tourist attractions. The breakfast was ok and I would stay in this hotel again. The room was cleaned everyday, and whilst the Wi-Fi connection was very slow it was mostly reliable. The only slight criticism is that you had to walk up a...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
