Arrived at 2am only to be told that our booking is not in the system. After they found it, they didn't apologies. The rooms were dirty and when we complained they threatened to kick us out. The breakfast is vastly smaller than pictured and the WiFi is terrible. They eventually did help us with bags when leaving.

great place if you want to be central located in the old town. i definitely recommend this place, the staff were very helpful. The price was fair, and it was very close to all the tourist-y attractions.

The rooms were not as good as on the pictures we found on Internet, the breakfast was poor...the noises in room were annoying! One night the hot water was gone. Tv channels were poor. The only good thing about the hotel is LOCATION.

Travelled alone in 2014. Want to thank staff of Istanbul inn for their hospitality and service. Breakfast was just amazing!!! This is the largest variety of food breakfast I've ever seen. 10 types of cheese, fresh vegetables and turkish cofee.

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Istanbul Inn for 3 nights last August. We really enjoyed our stay: the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and cozy and the staff was so helpful. I would recommend the airport pickup service; it was well worth it and hassle free. The location is very practical: if you have a somewhat...

We are seniors and our first impression when we checked in was very positive. The front desk manager Mr. Celal helped us with our bags and boxes (we took 4 pieces this time since we were going to US from there), which went beyond his call of duty. The room where we stayed Room 102 was small, shrunk to two...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.

“This hotel has 9 rooms in 3 floors and has a small elevator. Hence, the hotel is not crowded even in the lobby and you will see st of the guests during breakfast. There are rooms facing the street, I'd rather have the room facing the back, very quiet.”
