My girlfriend and I had booked a trip to Istanbul and we decided to stay at the Saba Sultan Hotel. The Hotel is very cosy and nice. Our room was on the groundfloor and it was a lovely and clean room. The only downside to it was that it was a bit noisy but that could be because we were...

The quality of the room was definitely 5 star, the helpfulness of the reception lady Tuba was amazing, and its a superb location....within 2 mins walk to Hagia Sofia. Overall a very good trip there thanks to a hotel that was good and offered a peaceful night of sleep. The only drawback was the breakfast and the service there. We...

This is a very nice boutique hotel just 5 min walk from the SultanAhmet Square and located in a dead end (very quiet). The staff are friendly and we really loved our stay there. The rooms are equipped with modern amenities and are very pleasant. We Strongly recommend it.

Stayed there four nights in March, 2013. Very friendly and helpful staff that do their best to make your stay a memorable one. Good breakfast although not a very large variety. The only negative part is that the insulation is not very good so that you will need to expect some noise from the other guests. Excellent location for Sultanahmet,...

In my opinion couldn't be better price / quality. The staff were friendly. The rooms are quiet, comfortables and the beds are nice. The breakfast is plentiful and typical. The hotel are a few meters to the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia Museum, Topkapi Palace, İstanbul Archaeology Museums, Obelisks from the Hippodrome of Constantinople, Basilica Cistern, and too much restaurants....

I spent 5nights in there. The hotel reception were really kind and warm. They always told to us and gave tips for sightseeing. The room wide was enough to stay alone, but closet is quite small. It's not enough for long stay. Location is nice,we can go to Blue mosque,Ayasofya, anywhere easier. I brought...

Staying in Sultanahmet

Neighbourhood Profile
Sultanahmet
With so many unmissable attractions within a mere stroll of each other – and all set around the site of an ancient Byzantine hippodrome – Sultanahmet is an overwhelmingly popular tourist destination, and a prime location for visitors to be wowed on a truly epic scale. Beyond the wonders of the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, and more, this relatively small area of Istanbul somehow manages to retain an air of peace and calm. It offers visitors a significantly less celebrated but nonetheless pleasant network of quaint lanes and side streets, majestic panoramas of the Bosphorus, and an impressive assortment of accommodation options for all budgets and tastes.
